| Poverty is a sickness, deal with it |
Poverty is defined as the general state of scarcity or the state in which one lacks a certain amount of material possessions or money in his or her possession. It is a concept which cuts across many areas of life, which includes social, economic, spiritual and political elements
The lack of money seems to be more source of evil in our society than the love of money today. People go into so much evil because of the lack of money but no evil is justifiable for going into because of the lack of money.
Indeed, I can say clearly that poverty is a sickness that has crippled many dreams and visions, and only a few are determined to come out of that sickness called poverty.
Poverty has killed many dreams, aspirations and until you treat poverty as a sickness and handle it the way you handle Malaria, you are entitled to remain poverty-ridden and your life a good definition of what poverty is.
That you were born poor is not a license to continue in poverty and hand over poverty to the generation coming after you. It is not a crime to be born poor but it becomes an evil thing when one decides to live poor and die poor.
That you were born without a silver spoon does not mean you cannot get the golden spoon for your children and generations unborn.
Holiness + Poverty = Lazarus kind of life although going to heaven
Also
Holiness + True Riches= Isaac kind of life that was richer than a nation yet was going to heaven too like Lazarus the beggar.
Holiness is not an affiliate with poverty neither is poverty a reward of being holy nor a proof that one is heading to heaven. Give me Jesus and give me the money too because the house of God will be spread abroad through prosperity and not poverty.
We cannot be serving a rich God that owns the universe and His children are beggars and hungry people, how then can we show fort the praises of him that has called us out of darkness into his marvellous light?
Do not tell me that the Lord is good but show me that the lord is good. It’s time we believers will stop praying “God bless me financially” but to come to a point that we wake up and pray, “Lord will I bless today”
One of the things I always do tell myself and am repeating it again is this
“MY CHILDREN CAN NEVER SUFFER WHAT I HAVE SUFFERED FINANCIALLY”
It’s not Pride but one of the things that should accompany my salvation.
A good father leaves a good inheritance for his children and I am certain that poverty is not one of those inheritances to be kept for unborn children.
My friend, you have to be determined to make it in life, stop all the complaining and seek a solution to the problem. Having a problem and not knowing it, is called ignorance but having a problem, knowing it and not doing anything about it is “foolishness”.
Don't feel so comfortable in that state of your poverty, generations coming after you are expecting changes to be done by you, you have to come to the point of understanding that there are people you should help, there are people that should smile because of you, there are people that your living should give them hope and confidence.
Be a Dorcas that people will cry at your death not because you are dead but because of the impact that will not be felt again.

- BE RESOLUTE TO SUCCEED
- BE DETERMINED TO SUCCEED
- NEVER GIVE UP ON TRYING TO SUCCEED
DON’T ONLY TELL ME HOW WELL YOU HAVE SUFFERED BUT TELL ME WHAT EFFORT YOU ARE MAKING TO STOP SUFFERING
